FLY; 5 year old Black/white spayed female. Most likely BC/Aussie
cross. She has a docked tail which does not necessarily mean
Aussie. She shows traits of a border collie. Fly is a very loving dog
who needs to be the only dog in the household. She gets on well
with cats but can be very pushy and dominant over other dogs. She
deals well with them on a play date kind of interaction but does not
live well with others. She is good with older children but will herd
younger ones. Fly knows some basic obedience but needs a
refresher course. She is housebroken but cannot ever be crated.
She spent most of a year crated with another dog in the same crate
and will injure herself trying to get out if she is crated now. Fly is
very affectionate with her people and would do well in a moderately
active home. She is medium energy level and will be happy with
walks. She is not barky but will alert to strangers. Fly is spayed,
current on her shots and ready for a new home. She is being
fostered in San Diego County.
