IRENE "peace or goddess of peace" 4-5 year old
spayed rough coat Black and white (mostly black)
Border Collie Female. Adoption on hold until after
Jan. 19, due to vetting that was done. Irene came
in with her playmate, BUCKAROO. We are taking
applications for Irene, but she will not be adopted
until all her vetting is finished. We are hoping that
she will be ready for adoption by Jan 19, if all goes
on schedule. Irene lost her home along with her
younger playmate, BUCKAROO, due to no reason
of theirs. Their owner was injured and will be
lifetime bedridden and can not take care of them.
Irene is friendly with everyone. Good on leash, less
active than her playmate, Buckaroo but is a lovely
sweet girl. She rides well in a vehicle. And would
make a wonderful addition to almost any home.
She is a bit confused about all the changes in her
life, since she lived in one home for all her life. The
saving grace for her was she was still with
Backaroo until he was adopted, who has been with
her since he was only about 8 weeks old. Adoption
application will need to fill out prior to seeing or
setting an appointment to visit with IRENE.
